I tried to recreate them virtually so you could discover them from every angle.

The metal mesh is cut and folded like a sheet of paper, then stiffened with layers of polyurethane rubber. The oval openings and textured red surface retain traces of how the chair was made.

Lionel Jadot took a chair from his family’s furniture-making tradition and reworked it in sheets of brass, with a split back and circular openings. Made by hand in Belgium, the piece was lent to the exhibition by Objects With Narratives.
